Marián Kittner
He studied at the State Conservatory, the Faculty of Education at Comenius University, and the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU) in Bratislava.

He currently works as a composer and arranger for various projects in Slovakia and abroad.
He frequently collaborates with the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra and the Slovak National Theatre (SND) in Bratislava, the Žilina State Chamber Orchestra (ŠKO Žilina), the Košice Philharmonic, the Bratislava Boys Choir, Lúčnica, the Mucha Quartet…
He has also had a long-standing collaboration with the agency Koncerty s.r.o., for whom he has arranged orchestral pieces for the Christmas in Bratislava project for 10 seasons now.
He has collaborated with conductors: R. Štúr, O. Olos, Peter Valentovič, K. Ilievski, and soloists: E. Grúberová, Š. Kocán, R. Šveda, P. Remenár, J. Fogašová, P. Bršlík, T. Kružliaková, Ľ. Vargicová, A. Kučerová, M. Fabiánová, S. Zámečníková, J. Kurucová, M. Porubčinová, T. Šelc, J. Kuchar, H. Gulyas, M. Garajová…..
Member of the Slovak Composers' Association since 2025.
He also serves as organist and choirmaster of the M@gnificat choir (www.magnificatchoir.eu) at the Bratislava–Dlhé Diely parish.
The choir takes part in various musical projects and festivals in Slovakia and abroad, where it has achieved international success.
In 2017 he authored a cycle of pieces for chamber orchestra for the Austrian theatre project Hutterer unterwegs. In addition to Austria, the work was also performed in Canada, where it met with great success.
In 2018 he wrote his second Christmas Mass for choir and orchestra, dedicated to E. Suchoň on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of his birth, and in 2019 he wrote his first symphony.
In 2020 he wrote a cycle of Biblical Songs for solo baritone, soprano, and string quartet.
In 2021 he composed a Requiem for soloists, choir, and symphony orchestra, which he dedicated to the family of the late composer Peter Martinček, with whom he was very good friends.
